Pregnancy is a time for learning. What are the healthiest foods for your growing baby? Which formula is right for your little one? What new products should you put on your registry?

Well Rounded NY answered.

Every year, the Well Rounded team puts together an awesome event to introduce expecting and new moms to products, services, and top tips from New York city experts.– and every year, I learn something new. This year’s 4th annual Tips By Trimester took place on the Second Floor of Kimpton’s Hotel Eventi.

The amazing event space had floor to ceiling windows that let in tons of light while giving us the perfect view of the huge screen that featured the company logo and live pictures from the event’s Instagram page.

Babies and bellies filled the room! We enjoyed healthy bites from Meisterdish ), the Upper West Side’s newest meal delivery service, and delicious mocktails from Little Spoon, a company delivering fresh, organic baby food to your door.

A panel of experts, including Brilliant Bodies, Be Well with Arielle, and The Seleni Institute walked us through birth, nutrition and mental wellness.

Moms got to see and touch baby friendly products from Ubbi, the stainless steel diaper pail, Babyganics, with eco friendly diapers and cleaning solutions, Ergobaby and the four position 360 baby carrier, and SNOO, the world’s first smart sleeper.

Bugaboo’s strollers were fashionable and functional. With tons of colors and styles, I almost considered adding one more to the 2Live Crew. Almost.

Planning for a new arrival isn’t just about the registry, though. Moms and dads need to think about the financial side of things, too. City Family was on hand to help give peace of mind with wills, trusts, special needs planning, and guardianship planning.

But baby wasn’t the only focus of this year’s Tips By Trimester–moms learned about pelvic floor therapy from The Functional Pelvis, and staying dry with THINX’s period proof underwear. For breastfeeding moms, Teat and Cosset’s soft, pretty tops and dresses keep things discrete, and Bamboobies‘ plush, washable nursing pads help stop embarrassing leaks.

And who hasn’t worried about getting back into their pre-pregnancy jeans? Not Your Daughter’s Jeans invited moms to try on their maternity jeans and luxe leggings–and get a free pair! NYDJ’s premium denim not only hugs your curves, but also lifts your butt and makes you look a whole size smaller.

Each mom left with a LeSportsac tote filled to the brim with baby products–perfect to use as a diaper bag later.
