“What’s for dinner, Mommy?”
I always said that I’d never be one of those moms who made one meal for the adults and then a separate meal for my kids…and then, I had kids. If I made chicken, they’d want spaghetti. If I made spaghetti, they’d want tacos.
Enough was enough.
Shazi Vishram, Founder and CEO of the organic food brand Happy Family, and Cricket Azima, Founder and CEO of The Creative Kitchen and professional chef, have teamed up to keep both moms and kids happy.
The Happy Family Organic Superfoods Cookbook includes more than 70 easy-to-follow recipes for baby and toddler meals and snacks.
“Every parent aspires to give the love, care and freshness of homemade food to their kids,” says Shazi. “We want to support parents to cook delicious and nutritious recipes because when we find the time to cook together, really good things happen — we connect with the food we eat and each other to enjoy the simple moments that make life happy.”
The DJ loves being in the kitchen with me–he runs to put on his chef hat every time I stand at the stove. The Happy Family Organic Superfoods Cookbook shares recipes that he can help with, like Avocado & Chicken Whole-Wheat Pizzas and Coconut Milk Chicken with Broccoli & Snow Peas.
Our cookbook arrived with goodies from Happy Family, including a Shine Organics pouch for mom, and fruit and veggie blends for the boys.
For families with food allergies, almost all of the recipes are allergy friendly, and include a clear listing of the ingredients, so you can pick the ones that work best for your family.
The healthy snacks and meals are perfect for families, with sections for babies 4-12 months, and toddlers 1-3 years old. The Happy Family Organic Superfoods Cookbook also helps to reinforce Happy Family’s Enlightened Nutrition Philosophy– that exposing children to a wide variety of nutritious foods early helps them develop healthy eating habits later.
Healthy for you, and delicious for them–pick up your copy of The Happy Family Organic Superfoods Cookbook and get cooking.
