\u201c<\/span>This month on the MyMommyVents blog,\u00a0 we\u2019ve been taking a look at the moms who are juggling it all. You may look at them and think,\u00a0 \u201cI bet she doesn\u2019t have a pair of little boys dirty underwear in the middle of her living room floor.\u201d Or, \u201cShe\u2019s never gotten to work and realized one of her shoes is brown and the other is black.<\/em>\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

Last\u00a0Friday,\u00a0a group of New York city moms, bloggers, and supporters\u00a0<\/span>gathered to learn the \u201csecrets\u201d of multitasking women at MyMommyVents\u2019 2nd annual Mommy Vent panel discussion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Over savory appetizers from TriniSoul Cooking<\/a>, MyMommyVents readers were able to mix and mingle with other women while being inspired, empowered, and informed in signature MMV style.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Panelists Schnelle Acevedo of BrooklynActiveMama.com<\/a>; clinical psychologist and fashionista at RealityTVFashion.com<\/a> Dr Yakini Etheridge; and dynamic media practitioner and host of the CocoaPreneur Web Series<\/a> on CocoaFab.com Khalilah Webster shared their insights on time management, motherhood, family, and \u201cClaire Huxtable Syndrome\u201d with the audience.<\/p>\n

Fashion, self care, and reality television were just a few of the topics we discussed.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s panel discussion was sponsored by the ultimate beauty guide for the modern woman, Sheen Magazine<\/a>, who was generous to gift everyone with a copy.\u00a0Urban Sitter<\/a>, the online resource for parents to\u00a0find and\u00a0 book babysitters recommended by people they know,\u00a0provided us all with one month\u2019s membership so that we could get out of the house for Sunday brunch with our girls or for date night with bae, and Gett<\/a>, New York city\u2019s newest black car app, donated $30 worth of rides to each MyMommyVents guest.<\/p>\n

The ladies walked away with a\u00a0gift bag included samples from LatchPal<\/a>,\u00a0a nursing clip that secures a mother\u2019s shirt during breastfeeding; and VTea<\/a>, a natural healing therapy.<\/p>\n

It was great to connect with so many of the women who read MyMommyVents each day.<\/p>\n

Each woman learned that the panelists were just like them\u2013moms\u00a0doing the best that they can every single day. At the end of our discussion, everyone was able to recognize that anyone can be a multitasking mama.<\/p>\n
