As we get ready to say goodbye to the dumpster fire that was 2020, many of us are looking forward to what 2021 will bring.
A new year brings new hopes. We start new routines, make promises to eat better, and push ourselves towards new goals. We let go of whatever didn’t work the year before, and become inspired create new dreams for ourselves and our families. With vision boards and personal growth on our minds, we’re open to all the possibility that a brand new year can bring.
While 2020 might not have been the year we expected, there was still so much to celebrate.
This year pushed us to be more vulnerable. We opened our hearts to others, and shared more of ourselves. We took a pause from the hustle of our daily routines in order to keep our families safe. We embraced new ways of learning, and learned how to be patient. We spent more time with the people who mattered most. We baked. We created brand new memories. And, we spent a whole lot of time on social media.
As we scrolled through our phones, looking for a break from all that was happening around us, these moms invited us into their families and their homes. They shared the moments that made this year special. From their rounded baby bumps to their holiday traditions, they created spaces for connection and community.
